The Crosier Fathers and Brothers were honored to receive Nadin Williams Ospino into our postulancy program.

The ceremony took place during the Solemn Celebration of Evening Prayer in Phoenix, Arizona. After a guided dialogue between William and the Crosiers present,  our Postulant Director, Fr. Donnay, osc, was pleased to  welcome William as a Postulant in the Crosier Order, gifting  him with his personal copy of the Sacred Scriptures as well as a Crosier Cross lapel pin. The celebration concluded with a Blessing and Sign of Peace.  A festive reception and evening meal followed.

William is originally from Colombia, though currently living and teaching in Denver, Colorado. Like others, he first contacted the Crosiers via the Crosier Vocations website. He followed up with one of the vocation directors and visited both Crosier communities in Onamia and Phoenix, where he felt at home with the charisim of the Crosiers. Desiring to take another look, he visited the Phoenix Crosiers again in December, and after prayer and discernment, he desired to take the next step in the process.

William is the fifth person to enter into the postulancy program in the past couple of years. Due to a teaching commitment with his employer, he will spend the next year as a postulant, visiting the Crosier Communities whenever possible. His formation program will have various components to it, including living with the Crosiers and our way of life before making application for the Novitiate in August of 2015.

We currently have two men discerning their call with us in Phoenix, becoming more familiar with Crosier Religious Life, our history and the pillars of what brings us together: our fraternal life, our liturgical life and our apostolic service to the local Church and the world.

We extend a welcome to any man interested in learning more about Crosier Religious Life and our charism. If you wish to learn more, please visit us at www.crosiers.org

If you are new to this blog, welcome! Take time to read blogs of other Crosiers listed, and if you feel God calling you to take another step, be sure to reach out to us, using the contact information given on our Home Page.
